iTapMenu is proud to partner with Stripe. Stripe is an external credit card processing company where you can collect funds from your customers during your presentation, which go directly to your dealership's bank account. This excellent service allows you to collect funds without stopping if a customer wishes to purchase a product and pay for it upfront or just put more money down. 

This is a pay-per-use service. The fee is 2.99% of the amount collected plus $.89c. If a dealership that signs up wishes to collect a higher cost for themselves, they can in the setup process. 

If your dealer wishes to sign up for this feature, contact support, and we will turn it on. Then, your CFO, Comptroller, Office Manager, or whoever has access to the dealership's banking information will do the following steps to set it up. 

​*** This does take a little time. It may take as much as 45 minutes to an hour, so please be prepared for this time frame. 
  1. Click on "Configuration." If you don't have a configuration, contact support for access. 
  2. Click on the orange button "Stripe for iTapMenu" in the bottom center of the screen. 
  3. This will then walk that individual through several steps. It will ask not only for banking info but also to verify who they are and confirm their identity for security. 
  4. Once complete, contact iTapMenu support to acknowledge. 
We suggest the following steps to see how the feature works and test the funds coming through correctly. Do a test menu and send $1.00 or something similar. 

Once set up and operational, use the steps below to utilize. ​
  1. Once a menu is built, it goes into the presentation like normal. 
  2. If you need to use the feature and have the customer send funds, go back to the tab that has your "Menu" tab open. 
  3. Click "Stripe" on the orange upper right side. 
  4. It will ask you to confirm the customers' email and cell and stock verbiage to send. 
  5. Click "Send." 
  6. Your customer will then receive an email and a text asking them to fill out the CC form and how much to send. (* Even though you sent them how much, the customer must still fill out the amount.)
  7. They then hit process, and inside iTapMenu on the "Stripe "tab inside that customer's menu, you can track progress. Once complete, you can then print a receipt if you wish. Your Office Manager, etc., will get notice that a payment is on the way. 
*** As I mentioned, we highly suggest that you do a test menu and send a $1.00 or two, like with all of our advanced features. This way, you can see what the customer sees and answer any questions they may have.
