Advanced Step
FandEye™ - Connect

iTapMenu allows you to build pre-delivery interviews or general information you wish to share with customers before they come in. You can have as many "connections" as you want, and each can represent a different scenario or reason for sending information to your customer. These are a few examples of other "connections" you may build and have ready in your store. 
  1. An actual pre-delivery interview. Gather all the information about the customer and their buying and driving habits beforehand. 
  2. Collect "stips" from customers, including a copy of their driver's license or pay stub if needed. 
  3. Build a few that represent one or more of certain products. This way, you can inform the customer about products prior to your presentation. 
All the "connects" you build can be as detailed or simple as you wish. The more detailed, the more time it will take to create them so they're ready to go. Below are the steps to add the pages and create a "connect" of your own. 
** As with all of our advanced features, we suggest sending a few to yourself first so you can see what they look like to the customer in case they have questions once they receive it.
  1. Go to CONFIGURATION on the lower left side. If you do not see the configuration, contact support for access. 
  2. Go to the Fandeye - Connect tab in light blue tabs. 
  3. To start, Click ADD in the upper right corner.
  4. Name the connection that you wish. Remember, if you are going to build several, name it something you will know right away what it represents. Then click SAVE in the lower right corner. 
  5. To start, click the little pencil to begin adding your pages. Then click ADD to add your first page. 
  6. An empty page will appear. You just have to fill it in. Click the little ADD button on the new page.  (* We have set up the options to create your page in the normal order in which you would want the questions or information to appear. However, you can add whatever you wish in whatever order you wish.)
  7. At the top of the list is Intro—Dealer Information. Click to add that to your first page. You can now add whatever you wish to the stock info that will display about your dealership inside the little "note" area. 
  8. Once done, always click SAVE in the lower right. 
  9. Then click ADD again to add another page. Then, add again to add content. Then again, click SAVE and go on and on. 
  10. You can always choose to Preview to see how it looks and adjust if needed. This will also give you a good idea of how it works and make it easier for additional pages. 

Once you have completed your Connect, you can now send it to a customer directly from any menu you have built. 

  1. Go to DEALS
  2. Choose your customer by clicking on the pencil to that customer's right. 
  3. Go to the MENU tab in light blue.
  4. On the upper right side, there are a series of orange buttons. Click CONNECT.
  5. You can now choose which Connect you wish to send to this customer. By email or text (as long as there is an email and a cell phone number in the deal)
  6. If you wish, you can adjust the stock info in an email and click SEND in the lower right corner.
